Ed, I played football once upon a time, now I watch, and that has kept my

        At some point, though, things just start to wear out. I had my first
torn cartilage in my knee around 36, and three more since then. The reason I
ref soccer is that I can no longer play competitively, but it keeps me in
the game even with my ancient knees.
