FoxPro Programmer Needed in Dallas ASAP! 

Our national client is looking for a programmer to develop and enhance
database applications using the Microsoft Visual FoxPro language and
Microsoft SQL Server. You will be responsible for developing
applications, modules, interfaces, and reports for applications in the
insurance industry. 

Position responsibilities: 

* Assess business requirements leading to platform and system design. 
* Code, test, and debug complex applications. 
* Evaluate, advise, recommend, and introduce new technologies in support
of company objectives. 
* Manage consistent version control and configuration management
practices. 
* Ensure best practices procedures and processes are followed and
perform code reviews. . 
* Ability to reverse engineer from various databases, such as SQL
Server, Oracle, FoxPro. 

Qualifications 
* Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field 
* 5+ years of experience in the field of insurance development. 
* Background in financial reporting. 
* Ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks and projects 
* Technical Experience desired: Visual Basic 6.0, VB.net, SQL Server,
Visual FoxPro, Excel, Crystal Reports, and R&R Report Writer
