All excellent ideas! Perhaps the idea of writing a VFP 9 app to do the image 
editing would be the answer.

  Hi Jack,

A couple of ideas:

1. You can run VFPPaint separate to your application, that way it can
run against VFP9 while your app stays in VFP6.

2. If that won't work for you, maybe you could ask Cesar Chalom what it
would take to convert it to VFP6.  Maybe he used a few commands that are
not in VFP6 but that can be replaced with alternatives.
