Tracy,
That was it. I had set up my shortcut to run VFP with admin privileges. As
soon as I removed them and ran as a normal user it burst into life.

Dave,

If you are running VFP in administrator privileges, and dragging for
Explorer, which doesn't, it could be a privilege problem.
