Let's see how it sounds :
"Yes, I see that she is a woman, and she sees that I am a man, but
how sad it would be if that were in the foreground."
Yes, he would be a sexist if he said that.

Let's see the other one :
"Yes, I see that she is shorter, and she sees that I am a taller, but
how sad it would be if that were in the foreground."
It would impress me as a completely stoopid phrase to say, and if I was 
answering to something then that something would be sooo stoooopid that 
any intelligent person would refuse to answer.
