Thanks everyone who responded on the specs issue. I have gone with core 2 quad 3mz 8gig memory and raid as a base. Interesting stuff though as I want to get a couple of music workstations made up for cubase and dual socket might be a good way to go. I'm still not convinced on AMD as I had bad things happen in the past. Al
