Thanks Alan I did respond to your idea in a prior Profox Mail. Scan End Scan expects to scan a Table. What I am fighting with is logic expressed in deeply nested LOOPs. A temp table or cursor does not seem to be the way. I have built a small fcn that is called by every EXIT that has replaced a Clipper BREAK, which has enough logic to preserve the outcome I need in 2 important cases. There are however umteen cases still of be implemented and tested.
