The deem-and-pass (aka, Demon Pass) legislation, while not entirely
new (it's been used by both parties mainly to pass unpopular increases
in the federal debt limit), is certainly unconstitutional. To use it
on the seizure of 1/6 of the US economy is however brazen beyond
belief.

Reconciliation (the so-called "nuclear option") was bad enough.... but
this on top of that is simply breathtaking.

What is happening now is what I understood in my spirit during the
election, with much grief: America as we know it is dead. It's just
taking time for the corpse to cool off and the parasites to circle
overhead, lead by Obama.

Obama's interview with FOX yesterday was also interesting for the
manner in which he summarily dismissed any concern over the
legislative maneuver. If there is anything IN his job description, it
is precisely to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution
against "all enemies, foreign and domestic."

It is NOT to seize 1/6 of the US economy and remove its administration
from Congressional purview, which is precisely what ObamaCare does.
The country entrusted the Constitution to a man who fundamentally
hates it and is overloading the system with attempts to break it.
Cloward Piven, eat your heart out. Saul Alinsky, start taking notes.

Since he is clearly one of those enemies (recall his 2003 radio
interview in which he declared the Constitution "fundamentally flawed
to this day", and never mind whether he is technically a foreign or a
domestic foe at this point it hardly matters), the end justifies the
means no matter what a farce it makes of our once mighty
Constitutional safeguards.

Look for illegal immigrant amnesty next to ensure an perpetual voting
bloc that will never, ever reverse the totalitarian control of our
economy.
