Well, what I don't get is that everything was running fine.... I copied the files to a new dir on a shared network drive, tried to run it and it looked a bit different, went back to my original on the local drive, tried to run it, and ASP pages just appear as source w/o actually running any script. It's as though the act of copying the files turned *something* off, though I've restarted the local machine (where I was running this stuff), manually checked IIS status as running, restarted it several times just for grins, still no ASP scripts will run.... double checked sharing and security settings and they appear unchanged.... I'm not running it on a server, so there shouldn't be any default settings to overcome.... I be stumped...
