Ed - for obvious reasons (since I am subscribed to this list via my job - and I write the e-mails from my job) - I will have to be pretty discreet about my reply.

The truth is - I warned them about the guy in the past - as he did nasty treatment to me - essentially pushing me out of the team for development on this new system here. As such - I continue to work in VFP (and, believe me - I'm NOT knocking VFP and those of us that work in it - I've just been trying to get some new technology under my belt for years now) - and so I'm no longer allowed to work on this project, in which I could have gotten serious experience working in C#/.Net framework!!! And - my manager did meet together with the woman and this guy - and sat them both down. But, whatever was said - it did not make her feel any better - and she still decided to leave. In fact - they let this guy run this new development project - and because he's been in charge of it for so long - maybe that is another reason they don't let him go. Although, in the past when I complained - they would say "Well - how come none of the OTHERS have problems working with him?" But, it seems this guy had something against me since the day I was hired here - and I believe he actually wanted to block me from getting hired - if not for this older guy - whom I knew from 15 years prior (I worked on their software - but, for one of their clients - 15 years ago - and, therefore, the reason my boss jumped at the chance to hire me!). >> Although - sadly enough - the number of attendees... > There was some serious talk among the organizers about setting > a cap on attendance. The feeling is that if it gets too big... I want to add some additional comments to this - but, I will have to do it later today - as I gotta get back to work here... -K- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a14071a1...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
