Fred: Well then why not (he poses rhetorically)! I realize that if the mouse is over the combobox object when it is dropped down and the mousewheel is spun the listindex changes accordingly. But then wouldn't it be nice if the same were true with the mouse not over the object. And I am not sure I know how to intercept wm_mousewheel and make it work in this instance. Regards,
