||| IMHO, it is a misreading of Scripture to translate the
metaphysical/spiritual reality brought about by the very real (promised, on
time, and on budget) destruction of Jerusalem and end of Israel of the old
covenant in 70 AD -- the culmination of prophetic Scripture -- into literal
meaning today. It's implications are not futuristic except insofar as they
are existential, meaning they point to ongoing, never ending reality, the
old world having passed away forever.

All is fulfilled, Christ reigns in the heavenly realms, and our earthly
death has been defeated already, no sequels or epilogues required. Just
faith and obedience to the will of God as we work out our salvation with
fear and trembling.|||

I'm glad you included the H at the front as it is the first HUMBLE thing Ive
heard you say (and the last). Your understanding of eschatology is grossly
flawed and the majority opinion on such topics vary considerably with yours
(just as in politics). Perhaps you could ask yourself about what Revelation
even exists for.

To be fair, he wanted to get the federally funded abortion mill
operational at full speed back in June. I don't think this was the
date he was aiming for. I think God kinda worked that out. Just like
how blizzards and deep freezes always manage to happen at global
warming conferences. He he he. :)

As to his being the Anti-Christ, or not. My position is that he is
undoubtedly AN Anti-Christ, that THE Anti-Christ of Revelation was in
fact demonstrably Nero -- who was kind of the poster child for the
species. There have always been, are, and as we breath in the flesh,
always will be false christs and anti-christs. One must be careful
which world we're talking about in terms of what prophecies apply,
when, and where.

IMHO, it is a misreading of Scripture to translate the

Scripture -- into literal meaning today. It's implications are not

All of this by way of saying: For all practical purposes, he might as
well be THE Anti-Christ, since they all do the same thing when they
acquire power. It's kind of like splitting hairs, except to think it's
all coming to an end next week or something is almost certainly
erroneous and not only leads to false hope but denies the truth of the
prophetic scriptures already being fulfilled in terms of what they
actually promised (vs. what people fashionably think they promised).

Modern evangelical "end times" interpretations are only a hundred or
so years old. As such, they're pretty much ingrained in most Christian
denominations on some level, implicit in practice or custom, or
explicit in doctrine, as the "correct" view, at the moment. But hearty
research and a bit of careful exegesis supports my theory too,
depending on your hermeneutic. YHMV.

This is why stopping people like this matters, regardless. Their evil
actions have dire consequences for fairly large chunks of time and on
many souls as the dramatic unfolding of history goes on. It's also
why, on some level, they cannot be stopped. For God so made the world.

If you think women are complicated, wait till you meet God. ;)
