Hi Nicholas,

Nice description of ice migration and leaf analogy. "They" didn't say
how they know *why* the coral is dying, did they? I mean, it just has to
be global warming, otherwise their funding goes to some other project.

What if it were "Coral Blight", "Coral Homosexuality", "Coral Woman's
Liberation" or something else that can't be pinned on evil human
activity? Now isn't a wider Northwest Passage a good thing? Doesn't
every ship strike make it wider as well?

Since we don't know the history of the ocean temperature it could be
that it varies as much as the ground surface air temperature does,
possibly in various trend cycles. Also, all monitoring stations up until
recently have been at fixed locations, suffering the same limitation as
"local" land temperature measurements.

The other day there was something about little drone subs floating
around taking temp and other measurements but these are fairly new. It
would be interesting to see a few years' graph from these sources.
Assuming the "science" industry didn't spin the figures to favor their
funding. If they did, how would we know, unless some more emails leak?

We do already know that they are liars and cheats from the first leak.
