Thanks for the info Pete. I was having trouble with the video I transcoded into the .avi container using Avidemux. I'm not sure what the problem was, but it would probably be fine over the local network using Twonky Server; because, the speeds would be there to build up sufficient cache. When you click on the link to the .mp4 version, download it to your hard drive instead of trying to open it up with one of your media players. Try playing the youtube version without utilizing the High Definition, (eg HD) option. I have a cable modem form Suddenlink that acts as my ISP. SuddenLink provides me with a high speed connect, and everything is over fiber optic, so I guess I'm pretty lucky. I'm excited right now. It was just announced the Abilene High School Eagles defeated the Katy Tiger in the San Antonio Alamo Dome to win the Texas state 5A high school football championship. The Katy Tiger have traditionally been a powerhouse in Texas High School football winning the state championship the last two years and winning it 5 times over the last 10 years. The Abilene High football team went undefeated this year. There is much rejoicing around here.
