"We have a deal in Copenhagen," U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
said, adding "this is just the beginning" of a process to craft a
binding pact to reduce emissions. He said the agreement "will have an
immediate operational effect."

Of course, other than committing initiall $30 bln but eventually $100
bln/year in climate aid -- whatever the f**k that means -- no details
about what supposedly makes this "operational" considering there is no
binding treaty and whatever else Barry bent over and agreed to hasn't
been approved by Congress. Not that it matters -- we're a czardom now
anyway.

I also hear Sen. Nelson is signing on as the 60th senator required to
pass that so-called "Health Care" monstrosity in Reid's office, which
only today some time will finally be revealed.

After these two "accomplishments" Democrats officially lose for at
least two generations any right to whine about the state of the
economy, stupid.

They are destroying it and dooming our children and grand children to
a life of relative poverty and servitude. And by the by they are
utterly trashing our republican form of government, which is giving
way to some horrific global command and control kleptocracy.

"It ought never to be forgotten, that a firm union of this country,
under an efficient government, will probably be an increasing object
of jealousy to more than one nation of Europe; and that enterprises to
subvert it will sometimes originate in the intrigues of foreign
powers, and will seldom fail to be patronized and abetted by some of
them. Its preservation, therefore ought in no case that can be
avoided, to be committed to the guardianship of any but those whose
situation will uniformly beget an immediate interest in the faithful
and vigilant performance of the trust." [Federalist Papers #59]
