You might wanna check XDIR download in universal thread download section.  
It is class which effectively scan disc and parses names of folders and
files within into 
two hook methods.

Simple search is already one of the samples provided there. There is simple
folder print 
implemented as well
Customize to suit your needs.
(Compile into exe for command line use)

I've used Norton's TS utility to search files for text since 1989.  Now it
won't run under Windows7 (not even in compatibility mode)  Does someone have
a suggestion for a light weight utility that can search files specified by
wildcards in recursive subfolders?  Command line would be a plus.
