No Stephen - the old system here never did Forms. Its all @ Say/Gets, which would require a complete re-write to change the look of the system.
As it is - we have one client who was paying us to convert a system into VFP - and change all screens into Forms that look like Windows screens. But, its still a HUGE amount of work - and we have been doing it module by module. Its never been completed. And, client has been frustrated because the new system always has too many problems. Problem is - we are never generally given enough time to do it right - so its always a rush job! Oh well... -K- -----Original Message----- From: profoxtech-boun...@leafe.com [mailto:profoxtech-boun...@leafe.com] On Behalf Of Stephen Russell Sent: Thursday, November 12, 2009 9:56 AM To: profoxt...@leafe.com Subject: Re: A Quick VFP Graphical Conversion... You could go into each form and fix it. That is time consuming. You could create form classes that you put all of your objects into and just tweak that base class. but that is just shy of a rewrite. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer SQL Server DBA Web and Winform Development Independent Contractor Memphis TN 901.246-0159 [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a1405578...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
