This is an awesome free tool. You can image your hard drive to a Virtual
PC .VHD disk image, even when you're using the disk. So you can make a
copy of your PC and run it in a VM.

And now that VirtualBox supports VHD (virtual hard disk) files  you can
use it with that, which I'd recommend since it's way better than Virtual
PC. Or convert it to the VDI format.
