That's the rub of it. It isn't racist, it's totalitarian. Totalitarians use issues like race to justify their power grabs. We have it in our head that somehow if a murder is "racist" -- i.e., the parties are of a different skin pigmentation -- it's "worse". And specifically if the killer is one color, and the victim another. No biggie if members of Obama's Kenyan Luo tribe slaughter a couple thousand fellow Kenyans of another tribe in the name of getting Presidential election loser Raila Odinga (for whom Obama actively campaigned as a U.S. Senator) a cozy Prime Minister job. I guess because they're all black. But woe betide the white Oxford police officer who embarrasses a black professor who harangues him for checking on his house after he breaks into it because he lost his key! Why, that calls for Presidential outrage! A teachable moment for the nation! A panel to study race relations! Even a photo op with adult libations! Moreover, it's OK if Van Jones supports a black thug who perpetrated execution-style killing of a white police officer. But how dare Joe Wilson call Obama out during his precious speech for telling a verifiable -- and later admitted -- untruth! Why, he must be racist! - Bob > -- > Regards, > > Pete > http://pete-theisen.com/ > http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ > > [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
