Well my laptop got the case of the hang out blues. All of a sudden the machine wants to give 60% of resources to the audio system and then make due with any other calls I might actually want done. Oh I am not running any music or videos most of the time. ????
So I have a new hard drive coming and wanted to get the install pattern to create a Linux <distro choice sought here> boot and then have the ability to load either Vista today and or Win7 in the future. I got a 500 g drive so where do I partition the drive space at. I was thinking of keeping it set in thirds. Linux, Working M$ and test M$. Device has 3 gig ram and I could always up that to 4 or was it 6? if needed later. I use to have these notes but the old device is semi stable and getting at them is more FRUSTRATING so getting a revised opinion today is what I am after.
