Yup - there are many ways...

Most have mentioned 'whats doable', so far, but I'll offer up two others.

1.  if the inputs and outputs are identical, then yes (functional paradigm)
2.  if the two functions have the same inputs and outputs, and ALSO have
the same metric for 'function point', using 'function point computational
analysis' then yes.

FWIW, a lot of programming metrics got solid mathematical foundations,
early on, and lots of books and white papers were written about metrics.

If you don't understand the math, then it's hard to gather the data needed
for the metrics, and even harder to understand what to do with the metrics
when comparing two functions.

Usually, an 'eyeball view' isn't enough.

But, usually this kind of question pops up from someone else, i e - not
you, but from a colleage or the boss or some 3rd party contractor.
