It's been a long while where I was searching for a cross-platform language that would be an easy transition for me. I remember way back in the fog of my memory at the time there were some questions about the new version of the GPL license? That may have been resolved. I'm trying to remember some of the languages I had been looking at the time.
Recently there has been a lot of FUD between Fedora and the Mono project being spread around. I'm hoping this issue is resolved quickly as it appears as if lots of good and productive software is being released on Linux using Mono. I'll probably never develop in Mono but if good stuff is being created using Mono ...
