I've installed the RC last evening, in a VMWare virtual machine. The laptop has vista ultimate and 4 gb RAM. I gave 2 GBs to windows 7 and started the setup. Well.... it has finished in about 15 minutes. The shutdown process takes just 10 seconds. Startup takes about 20 seconds. It's blazingly fast (yeah, I know it sounds biased but what the heck, in my oppinion Windows7 is the best windows so far). Can't wait to have the RTM build and use it daily. It's way faster than vista.
