Hi Everybody! Has anyone ever installed dabo? Following the instructions exactly from
http://dabodev.com/wiki/InstallationOnLinux (whole bunch of stuff, beyond the buffer) A dabo/springboard/ui/springboard.cdxml A dabo/springboard/ui/__init__.py A dabo/springboard/ui/springboard-code.py A dabo/springboard/reports A dabo/springboard/reports/__init__.py U dabo Checked out revision 5191. p...@pete-desktop:~/src$ cd/usr/lib/python/site-packages bash: cd/usr/lib/python/site-packages: No such file or directory I *think* it is in /etc/python2.5/dabo.pth/dabo/ I can look at it in the file viewer, but when I click on DaboDemo.py it responds with a dialog box offering to "run in terminal, display, cancel or run". Run is the obvious choice, but it doesn't run. Run in terminal is the second choice. It runs for a second, not long enough to read the first word, then the terminal crashes. Ubuntu 8.10. Thanks for any help. Can't ask the Dabo User's list, they consider *installing* dabo off topic, they only use it, not install it. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
