Actually it is not that much about  Rich Internet Application route  than
about a worry that I must not end up spending  time on  tool/tools that
become obsolete quickly.

You have suggested  Silverlight,  but considering fact that need to  move
away from VFP is caused by Microsoft,  using any other product from same
company becomes least preferred.
