What a shame. I met Kristyne and Steve in 2002 or so while in SoCal visiting. She and Steve were a lot of fun. I had no idea she had diabetes. They both loved, and had, Siberian Huskies. Lynda and I love our 3 (sometimes 4, when we dog-sit) Siberians. During a wildfire a few years back Kristyne lost a few of their Huskies, which I know bothered Kristyne a lot.
Let me know when the memorial fund is set up. I will pop a few hundred bucks in there for our fallen compadre. I will not be in SoCal until May. If nobody has cracked the password by then I would be glad to image the hard drive and then give it a try. I prefer to do that kind of thing only after imaging a drive, which means using an off-board hard drive. It could get edgy, but doable. Later...
