As usual you totally missed the point. Who is to blame for the debt? I was
just waiting for you to say it was all democrats and never a republican. You
see, I needed  laugh and was relying on you to provide your usual diatribe
of one-sided blind loyalty to a discredited political party. It is

Hi Geoff!

Congress is in the business of getting money for their own districts.
Right now the Ds hold the balance of power so the bill that passes 
reflects their preferences, i.e. strong national government.
