Hi Allen, Everybody!

Yes, you are ALMOST right. Those of a certain color are allowed to GIVE,
but not to receive. That said, there is a certain joy to giving.

Quite by chance I got to participate in a Church project that resulted
in a local 16 year old getting a wonderful Roland AT-90S organ as a
Christmas surprise. An honor student, she is the daughter of a
struggling immigrant mother. She won a recent local organ competition
while she didn't even have an organ in her home to practice on!

One of my coworkers on a different Charity project chanced to mention
that a widow of our acquaintance was having no luck whatever turning her
late husband's organ into any amount of cash at all. Used home organs
don't sell because they are in reality computers - obsolete in 18
months. I relayed this to my own organ teacher who knew the girl, also
knew that this particular organ was ideal for the girl's practice and
was able to get the widow a good tax deduction through a church
brokering the deal. A win for everybody!

We got the organ to the girl's house yesterday. She will have many years
of use of it if she can get her big brother off the bench! The brother,
however, was a major muscle in getting the 400 lb beast out of my truck.

Merry Christmas Everybody, including those who take offense at Christ!
