Folk, please help me out I'm trying to install Mysql and the odbc stuff (I'm following Will Hentzen's book closely)
I'm stuck on the ODBC installation, where I get the error Connection failed [HY000][MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver] Can't connect to MySql server on localhost (10061) The book tells me this is a common error and that it may be firewall related, but I don't have a firewall so I don't know what to do next.
