I do that usually if it's not too hairy.  For example, I do this a lot:

llGuts = MESSAGEBOX("You are running VFP on Wine and that is probably
against the Microsoft EULA.  Are you sure you wish to
continue?",4+32+0,"Got balls?") = 6

I guess I'd prefer your example without the IIF since I'm saying "this
expression evaluates to the result of the right side of the equals sign."
