Here's the scenario. I have a VFP based slideshow integrated into my app. I want to be able to control it from another instance of my main application running a different form on a different system. I've got the basic mechanics worked out using a timer on the slideshow form and a table that gets updated by the controlling form and when I run both forms in the same instance of VFP, the slideshow form behaves as desired. However, when I run the slideshow in a second instance on the same computer, what takes a fraction of a second can occur seconds later.
