There is no way to downgrade. Here's what find out on my own

1) Export your bookmarks from FF3 into an HTML file
2) Uninstall FF3
3) Install FF2.x
4) Import your booksmarks from the HTML file you created in step 1
5) Install any extensions.

As far as 'settings' the defaults installed with FF2.x were fine with me.
Bookmarks are the only thing I really cared about. And I only realized the
problem with FF3 bookmarks after uninstalling it and reinstalling FF2.x.
What I had to do then was uninstall 2 and reinstall 3 and then export the
booksmarks.

Not to mention the countless add ons that stop working in FF3, and the
ones that don't work well. I made the mistake of upgrading my home
computer's FF to version 3.
Is there a way to downgrade without loosing my settings? (I mean
"downgrade" vs. re'installing or recovering a backup).

TIA
