If you will check your history, you will find that LBJ did not get things through for JFK. It was only of JFK assumed room temperature that LBJ got things done. Your study will also show that his major accomplishment, the civil rights act was passed with the help of Sen Everett Dirksen (R) and the rest of the Rs over the objections and filibuster attempts of the Ds.
