I am still scratching my head at Obama's selection of Joe Biden.

Obviously, the ticket needed another big ego prone to verbal gaffes. :|

Maybe Obama needed someone who could advise him about what is and is not
"above his pay grade" to decide? (Biden's an expert in that, just ask Scott
Ritter.)

This really is a mystifying pick because Biden is the anti-Obama: ultimate
"insider," head-strong Beltway know-it-all, not a fresh face at all. Didn't
say many nice things about Obama during the campaign, except that he's the
first intelligent, articulate black guy ever to run.

About the only thing they have in common is a tendency to life other
people's speeches and recite them as their own.

BTW, an amusing side note: The much-anticipated "text message" went out at
3AM. Hitlery! must have been tossing and turning all night after that jab!
Hehehehehe.

Anyway, look for Biden to embarrass Obama at some point during the campaign.
He's got verbal diarrhea big-time and is known as a back stabber of the
first water--smile at you and say nice things in person, then cut you down
hard. Big-time et-tu-brute material.

A bad choice. I was much more worried about a Bayh or Sebelius pick.

I wonder if the media will dispatch the armada of snoops around to discern
McCain's pick next Friday. I expect them to treat it all rather ho-hum. This
mania they manufactured about Obama's pick was as disgusting to watch as all
the other fawning coverage they give this guy. The whole text message thing
was a joke.
