I've been using my MacBook as my primary system (I have no desktop
system) for 1.5 years now. Before that, I had a series of 3 Toshiba
notebooks as my primary system for about 3 years.

I don't miss the desktop at all.

Also, relating to the dialup thread, I periodically turn off my wifi
radio to get serious work done. I make sure I'm always able to work if
I'm offline. When back online I'll commit to my subversion repository,
download new mail, and sent queued mail. Then I'll go back offline again.

Keeps me focused and on task!

Paul
