Compensation? Depends on how much value you expect to land, and how much time you will allow before you get paid on it. You bring in an account for say 1000 new prospects a month who owe 1000. That is a big piece of potential earnings. If collector keeps 35% of collections can you get 1/4 of that? So 1000 = 350 gross profit *.25 = 87.5 Now you have to determine how long you can be expected to wait till you get your money? Will you accept on 2.5% on every account that hits the company paid as brought in? So 1000 accounts for 1000 each = 25,000 per month. I have no idea what quality of paper you are chasing. I know a couple who sues EVERY person in every dead loan jacket that they purchase for 25.00. They get judgments on old cars sold 2, 5 or 10 years ago. Not sure why a judge would grant a judgment on 10 year old debt? but this is the repo capital of the USA. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer Mimeo.com Memphis TN 901.246-0159 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/%(listmsgid)s ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
