We have had at least a dozen clients who want nothing to do with Vista, but have tried Linux (ubunto and redhat) and find it unusable - confusing - something like Vista?? If someone would make a user-friendly Linux, now is the time they could probably pick up a significant share of the market. Because Linux is free, most people would overlook a lot.
We have used open office and find it more user friendly than MS word with that stupid activation crap that turns itself on now and then. Combine that with a good browser (firefox) and email and a usable Linux and you would have everything many people need. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Schummer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Maybe undeserved at this point, but most people I talk to still think Linux is too confusing and too hard for mainstream deployment. An OS for geeks. <shrug> _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
