First... I changed this to [OT] for the response so the OT police don't beat us 
both severely about the head and shoulders with their nightsticks.

Second... As a Virginian who held my nose several times and voted for the twit, 
I have to tell you there was great celebration when he announced he was 
retiring at the end of this term.  As far as the lobotomy goes, I think he had 
one.  He had also introduced some foolish cap and trade legislation, which 
fortunately did not get through this year, but stands a good chance if we get a 
bunch more lefties in the Senate.  He, like McCain depended on moderates and 
soft Ds to stay in office as many of us have never forgiven him for screwing 
with Ollie North's Senate race.  

As senile as he is, he is smart enough to never show up at R functions... 
nobody wants him there, besides what would such an exalted personage have to do 
with the little people?  How smart could the guy be, though, he was married to 
Elizabeth Taylor for a while?
