OK. Sometimes I forget the mailing list has member from around the
world, not just from my little world. I think we all tend to focus most
on our own problems, and I live in the good old USA, which seem to be
changing drastically for the worst. When I used the word "world" in the
post that offended you, it was in the context of "my own little world",
(eg America and other countries in which America has entangled herself).

When I wrote the email, I didn't intend to come off sounding like a
bully; I was just being assertive. I can't make my arguments against
people like Michael, Pete, and Richard, if my writing style is humble as
the dust. LOL In many countries virtues like humility and patience are
highly valued, but that doesn't seem to apply in the USA, where more
value is placed on assertive, aggressive behavior.

I know that many people from all over the world have fought and died for
Freedom and Democracy, so America certainly doesn't hold a monopoly on
these high principles, and I salute each and every man that has fought
for, or died for those principles. They are all heroes. All men, (eg
men, women, children), around the world should have the right to
Democratic Government and basic Freedoms.

Regards,

LelandJ
