I remember seeing a recent report (not sure where) that showed that outsourcing to India provided 6 people to each North American IT person displaced. That was in the mid to late 90s. Today that ratio has dropped to 3 to one.
Most East Indians have heavy accents and little or no understanding of North American business practices and culture. This in the long term will defeat outsourcing.
