I remember seeing a recent report (not sure where) that showed that
outsourcing to India provided 6 people to each North American IT person
displaced. That was in the mid to late 90s. Today that ratio has dropped to
3 to one.

Most East Indians have heavy accents and little or no understanding of North
American business practices and culture. This in the long term will defeat
outsourcing. When the ratio comes down to 2 to one, I think most businesses
will prefer to stick to North Amercians.
