Hi all I am toying with the idea of an app that amongst other things will keep track of tyres on vehicles and trailers. What I would like to have is a pre-defined set of wheel/tyre layouts from which a selection can be made, I need to get at least a basic set of layouts to start with like these
2+2 Like a normal car 2+(2+2) Two at front, two pairs on rear 2+2+2 Three axles - two tyres on each I'm not worried about how to code this but I want to present the user with different layouts displayed as graphics - again I have some ideas of how I might go about this. But any ideas where I can get some info on the more common (and less common) arrangements of axles, wheels, tyres on various types of vehicles (including trailers) ? This is a bit like looking for the arrangements of wheels on locomotives - but that is much more easier ...
