What's this, Ed, more revisionist teaching.  When I went to school, it was 
called the Law of Gravity.  Has that been backed off into only being a theory?  
When theories have been proven they are accepted as laws... or are we 
unceertain about certainty?

Evolution is a fact... where has it been observed outside minor changes within 
species?  In nature things deteriorate, they don't get better.  Adaptation is 
only the variations that work better survive in greater numbers.  Where is your 
'missing link'?

Consider that a while back Friedrich Nietzsche said "God is dead", but then a 
few years later, God said "Nietzsche is dead"  :-)
