Well, given that GM has about a 25% market share in the US and loses 
buckets of money every time they turn around....

It'd be more like saying we should overtax Standard Oil because their 
illegal business practices put other drillers, refiners, gas stations 
and anyone else who got in their way out of business in the early part 
of the 1900s.

Oh, wait, they did that.
