I've written a couple of articles on multiple boot configurations. Upon adding a third operating system to a dual-boot machine, I managed to overwrite the machine's MBR (master boot record) so that it pointed to the wrong bootloader.
I've written up a short article explaining the exact steps I took to rewrite the master boot record so that it pointed to my first Linux bootloader instead of the second, but maintained the entry for the XP install as well. www.hentzenwerke.com, click on "Resources".
