Thanks for the response.  There are tons of UDF's in my VFP applications 
that are 16 years old.  I also wrote a lot of routines prior to trusting 
SCAN ENDSCAN!  Trust me when I say I have to rewrite my applications!  ;^)

I have also used different languages before, so learning a new one is 
not that big a deal for me.  RPG, COBOL, FORTRAN, BASIC, C, Assembler 
Many will remember going from FPD to VFP.  That was basically learning a 
new language where you could keep bits and pieces of your old code.

So now it looks like a good time for me to update my applications.
