probably an odd practice that only I do, but I edit all my 2.6 dos/2.6
unix code with vfp 9 and I keep a 2.6 window open for compiling.  I
just have to make sure the file is closed in vfp when I compile it.  I
get a lot of the benefits of the vfp editor this way, although you do
have to keep in mind some stuff will pass the syntax checker but still
not compile in 2.6
