Staying over at a buddy's house in Philly and he tells me his sound doesn't work on his PC. He had an internal sound card--one directly on the motherboard I'm told--and when that died he went out and bought a sound card to plug into the mother board. Directions for that new card told him how to disable the internal sound card in the BIOS and he followed the install wizard for the new card. Never got that to work. Still no sound. He said that the problems all started after he installed a web cam.
Suggestions for how I might be able to fix this for him? tia! -- Michael J.
