Why don't y'all (Amerricans) understand that a date format that goes from least-to-most (or vice versa) significance just makes a whole lot more sense than MDY where the least significant part is in the middle !! For goodness sake, why don't you start insisting on times being quoted in HSM (hours, seconds, minutes).
