I put it in a directory on my Windows server and MySQL Control Center "sees" the databases. I can even see the fields, their types, and lengths.
When I query for the data however, I'm getting errors and hitting a dead end. I'll get the exact error messages tomorrow. I know one of them is error 130. I was googling for the answer but I came up empty. I didn't expect them to send me another copy of the files. I was hoping for a true backup.
