I think the military is much closer to revolting then people realize.
Those guys and gals may well  be tough as nails, but they're not stupid.

It was around this time - in terms of 'climate' - that fragging started
in Vietnam. Of course, the draft played a major role, but now there's a
different wild card with the same or greater influence: retired generals
and other respectable people who have spoken out against the cause that
soldiers are actually killing and dying for.

This isn't the only time-bomb ticking, but it could well be the next one
to go off.
